Students


If you are an International or Australian citizen and student, contact us before you enrol to discuss a program of research and assist you with your enrolment. Students with undergraduate degrees in psychology, linguistics, speech pathology, neuroscience, physics or related disciplines are particularly welcome.

QUT offers PhD scholarships. General information about the annual round is available: here. The QUT Postgraduate Research Award (QUTPRA) pays a living allowance (stipend): - Includes a QUT HDR tuition fee sponsorship (for international students) - includes single overseas health cover (OSHC)** for the duration of the student visa (for international students)

We also welcome international students on placements or external projects as part of their degrees. To date, we've had students from the Diplôme d'ingénieur, Filière biomédical, Université de Technologie de Compiègne, France, Fb Naturwissenschaftliche Technik, Masterarbeit, Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften, Hamburg, Germany and from the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, Netherlands.


Honours projects

We have projects/places for up to 3 students per year. Topics on offer typically concern processes involved in language, memory and cognition.
